Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren held a review meeting with officials regarding the preparations for his proposed visit to Davos and London, United Kingdom, from January 18 to 26, 2026. During the meeting, the Chief Minister and the officials had a detailed discussion on various important aspects related to the visit.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren told officials that this international tour by the state government delegation is extremely important from an investment perspective. He instructed that all preparations on behalf of the state government should be coordinated, effective, and well-organized. The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to establishing Jharkhand as a leading investment destination and creating new opportunities for collaboration with multinational corporations. He expressed confidence that this proposed visit to Davos and the United Kingdom will prove to be a significant milestone in the direction of investment and development in the state.

Following a review meeting of the foreign tour at the Chief Minister’s residence, Minister Sudivya Kumar Sonu said that officials informed the Chief Minister that an 11-member delegation from Jharkhand, led by him, will participate in the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos. This will be the first time that a delegation from Jharkhand will participate in a global forum like the World Economic Forum. This will be a historic achievement for the state. The conference will be attended by leading investors, industrialists, and dignitaries from around the world.
