Delhi: The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), through its constituent laboratories—CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL), CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CSIR-CFTRI), and CSIR-Fourth Paradigm Institute (CSIR-4PI)—will organize the ‘Research, Industry, Start-up and Entrepreneurship’ (RISE) Conclave 2026. The event is scheduled for June 13–14, 2026, at the VM Ghatge Convention Centre, HAL Airport Road, Bengaluru.
Centered on the theme “Innovation and Entrepreneurship-Driven Growth for Viksit Bharat 2047,” the conclave will serve as a national platform to foster collaboration among research institutions, industry leaders, start-ups, academia, investors, and policymakers. The aim is to accelerate innovation-led growth and the commercialization of technology.
The two-day conclave will be inaugurated by the Union Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh. Senior government officials, scientific leaders, industry representatives, and entrepreneurs will participate in the event. Dr. N. Kalaiselvi, Secretary of DSIR and Director General of CSIR, along with directors from various CSIR laboratories, will discuss ways to strengthen India’s research and innovation ecosystem. During the exhibition, over 100 start-ups, MSMEs, and innovators supported by CSIR, ISRO, DST, DBT, ICAR, ICMR, and MoES will showcase their technologies and products. This event will provide significant opportunities for networking, industry engagement, technology transfer, and investment partnerships.
The two-day event, scheduled for June 13 and 14, 2026, will feature special sessions on topics such as aerospace technologies, artificial intelligence (AI) and data science, agri-food innovation, science communication, entrepreneurship, venture capital, and industry-academia collaboration. Distinguished experts from leading research institutions, industries, start-ups, and the investment ecosystem will share their insights on emerging technologies, pathways to innovation, and market opportunities.
A key highlight of the conclave will be dedicated dialogues among industry leaders, researchers, and start-ups. Discussions will cover subjects such as technology transfer, commercialization, intellectual property, funding opportunities, and the scaling of deep-tech innovations. The event will also facilitate strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders and the exchange of technology transfer agreements.
The RISE Conclave 2026 is expected to strengthen the innovation ecosystem by fostering cross-sector collaboration, supporting entrepreneurship, accelerating the translation of research into products and services, and creating new opportunities for economic growth and job creation. This conclave reflects CSIR’s commitment to advancing science, innovation, and entrepreneurship as key driving forces in India’s journey towards ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’.
