JES fulfilled Rajdharma, Ansari’s role important in connecting people with the union
Shamsher Alam/Jharkhand। Aslam Ansari, National President of Jharkhandi Ekta Sangh (JES), which has been working in the interests of migrant workers for nearly two decades, has expressed concern over the policies of the Jharkhand government। He says that despite being rich in mineral resources, migrant workers being forced to migrate from Jharkhand state for employment is a disaster in itself। On the issue of migrant workers, the JES team from Mumbai met Chief Minister Hemant Soren, MLAs and ministers in his cabinet dozens of times and discussed the issue of migrant workers of the state and also submitted a memorandum, but the result is still zero। The latest case is of Shamsher Ansari of Madmo Khetko of Bokaro district, Jharkhand, Ansari used to work in a building in Panvel adjacent to Mumbai. But he died after falling from a four-storey building during duty। His body was also sent to his village with the help of JES।
Bureaucrats, leaders and actors of the country have been associated with it for 20 years
According to the news, Jharkhandi Ekta Sangh (JES) was established in the year 2005। However, before that, after the division of the state, i.e. since the year 2001, this organization was working temporarily for migrant laborers. But after the official registration of this organization on record, it is working for migrant laborers first in Mumbai, then Maharashtra and now in the whole country।
After the registration of this organization, every possible service to the ministers and MLAs of the state government coming to Mumbai from Jharkhand state has been done by the officials of JES। Let us tell you that apart from common and special migrant laborers, a large number of bureaucrats working in different states of the state and the country are also included with JES. These include a long list of bureaucrats and top bureaucrats sitting on top posts of governance and administration। Despite this, thousands of Jharkhandi Ekta Sangh officials spread across the country are still diving into the political whirlpool regarding their demands। Since the politicians of Jharkhand state who give assurances do make promises but forget them as soon as they leave Mumbai, how?
Tears flowed, bodies of 300 migrant workers sent to their villages
During the conversation, National President of Jharkhandi Ekta Sangh, Aslam Ansari, could not stop himself and his tears flowed, he said that despite being rich in mineral wealth, migrant workers of Jharkhand are forced to migrate for employment। He said that till now the bodies of about 300 migrant workers have been sent to their villages in Jharkhand by JES, which came into existence in 2005।
He said that on this issue, I myself and the officials of JES went from Mumbai to Ranchi dozens of times and discussed with the CM, his ministers and MLAs regarding the formation of Jharkhand Migrant Welfare Commission and a memorandum was also submitted, but the matter is still hanging in the balance। The national president of the organization, Aslam Ansari, has again demanded the formation of Jharkhand Migrant Welfare Commission from the government। So that security and assistance can be provided to the migrant workers of Jharkhand who have gone to different states of the country and abroad for employment। The Jharkhand government should seriously think and decide on this issue।
