Bokaro/Bermo: Continuous efforts are being made under CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) in Kathara area to benefit the society and environment. In this episode, today on 14th July 2024, CMD, Central Coalfields Limited, Nilendu Kumar Singh distributed school bags and sports material to the students of Kathara High School, Kathara during his field visit.
The school bags distributed included inspirational books and literary books like Godaan, Karmabhoomi, Panchtantra along with notebooks and stationery items. Apart from this, 4 carrom boards, 5 chess boards, 5 footballs and 2 football net sets, 5 volleyballs and 2 volleyball net sets, 20 skipping ropes etc. were distributed to Kathara High School, Kathara.
Jute bags with the message “Do not use single use plastic” were also distributed to sensitize the students towards environment and water air sustainability.
On the occasion, General Manager Kathara Area Sanjay Kumar, Project Officer Kathara Colliery Durgesh Kumar Sinha, Project Officer Jarangdih Colliery Parmanand Guin, Project Officer Govindpur Phase II A.K. Tiwari, Staff Officer (Safety) C.B. Tiwari, Staff Officer (Mining) Binod Kumar, Staff Officer (P&P) Arjun Prasad, Staff Officer (MM) M.M. Nath, Staff Officer (CSR) Chandan Kumar and other department heads of Kathara Area were present.
