Navi Mumbai: On Monday, 14 October 2024, the Bhoomi Pujan and foundation stone laying of the much-awaited Jharkhand Bhawan in Vashi, Navi Mumbai was completed through online medium by the hands of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. This program in Navi Mumbai was successfully conducted under the guidelines of IAS officer Arwa Rajkamal, Secretary, Building Construction Department.
This seven-storey building will have VVIP suites for the Chief Minister and the Governor, deluxe rooms, exhibition hall, seminar hall, gymnasium, dining area, rooftop garden with sewage treatment plant, rainwater harvesting etc. The building will be decorated with traditional Sohrai painting to give it a local flavor. This building will also serve the patients coming from Jharkhand for treatment by providing them accommodation at concessional rates.
The leading NGO of migrant laborers of Jharkhand, ‘Jharkhandi Ekta Sangh’, has played an important role in making this dream possible with its continuous efforts to take up this demand with the Jharkhand government for the last 20 years. For this, the association expresses its gratitude to the Honorable Chief Minister Hemant Soren and also to the Honorable MLA Vinod Singh who made a special contribution in getting this work done. On this occasion, National President of ‘JES’ Aslam Ansari, Executive President Firoz Alam, Secretary Santosh Kumar, Treasurer Tajuddin Ansari and other prominent members Sadrul Shaikh, Vinod Prasad, Rajendra Sharma, Asghar Khan, Kashif Ullah, Salim Ansari, Kailash Mandal, Taufik Ansari, Mustakim Ansari and other office bearers were also present in this program.
